Tripolia Bazaar is the bangle lane — the stretch running from the Chandi ki Taksal locality toward the palace walls (gate names in the old city vary by source — verify on the ground), where lac and glass bangles are stacked in colour towers from pavement to ceiling. It is the narrowest of the great bazaar streets and the most specialised.

What the lane sells

Type Reality check
Lac bangles The craft item — resin-based, warmed and shaped, gold-leaf and mirror work; the wedding tradition’s bangle. Prices climb with the handwork: ₹50 stalls to ₹2,000+ sets (review-reported).
Glass bangles The everyday wear — colour range enormous, prices pocket-level, breakage expected.
Metal and imitation jewellery Fills the lane’s edges; fun money — the jewellery guide separates the real trades.

The buying approach

The lane experience

Tripolia doubles as the shortest walk between the bazaar arc’s anchors — and its gate, Chandi ki Tadig, is one of the old city’s working arches (the gates guide). Crowds are thickest in wedding season; mornings are trade hours.
