📄 Image slot — ajmer monsoon with full ana sagar lake rain clouds and green hills.

Monsoon, roughly July to September, changes Ajmer more than any other season: Ana Sagar and Foysagar fill, the Aravalli hills around the city turn green, and the crowd thins to shoulder-season levels. The trade-offs are practical. The fort tracks turn slippery and are best left until they dry, lake boating depends on the water level and pauses after weak years, and active rain spells make the open run out to Foysagar a poor idea. For photographers the reward is the year’s best water frames, with full lakes under clearing cloud.

Monsoon changes Ajmer’s look more than any other season, filling the lake and greening the hills.
